Each 30-60 minute learning session is tailored to your child’s unique learning needs. One-on-one individualized support can assist greatly with learning new and difficult concepts, “catching up”, improving and enriching already mastered skills. Through evaluation, customized instruction, practice, assessment and feedback, our aim is for your child to enjoy the process of learning and feel success and confidence in their developed skills.
We will conduct either a math or language assessment to determine your child’s skill level, depending on which service you are interested in. This will allow us to create a targeted plan of action to achieve a positive outcome.
30-60 minute learning sessions will take place as many times per week as needed at one of the four areas at our location, depending on the learning goal for that particular session.
After each tutoring session, parents/guardians will be emailed feedback, if they would like, summarizing our learning time together and an update on your child’s progress. This can be helpful when communicating with your child’s teacher.
Whether your child is learning new and challenging academic content, ready to begin reading, struggling with math or literacy concepts, requires homework support or would benefit from enrichment and special interest projects, our one-on-one tutoring offers positive academic outcomes more effectively than a traditional classroom setting. To activate learning and engagement, your child will have their learning sessions outdoors-weather permitting either at the beach, pool or intracoastal docks. Our business centre offers a beautiful view of the waterways and can be accessed for indoor learning.
